House has a team of seven doctors on it at any given time, with as many as 13 in season three. In season eight, the number is reduced to seven. The team starts with House, who becomes team leader after the departure of Cameron and Masters. He eventually recruits Taub as a doctor, who initially only takes credit for his diagnoses; by the time of Thirteen's return in season six, Taub has become a fully-fledged member of the team. Season eight introduces two more. Kutner and Jacobson come on as House's new team members midway through season six.
House's diagnostic team is composed of Drs. Robert Chase, Allison Cameron and Eric Foreman (Omar Epps). Chase left the team in season three, but is later rehired, and Cameron and Foreman were recruited at the end of season three. Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) was recruited in the middle of season five; Dr. Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn), Dr. Chris Taub (Peter Jacobson) and Dr. Remy Hadley (Olivia Wilde) were recruited in the middle of season six. After the departure of Cameron and Masters, Foreman becomes team leader in season eight.
