You start strong, as is right for a war hero. With your pre-war basement standing and fully stocked in preparation for the worst. But your eventual promised vanilla godhood has been stripped away, and what progress you do make in strength and security is meager compared to before. The gameplay is faster, more punishing, less predictable
Water Redux completely overhauls the Water sources in Fallout 4, making them more realistic and immersive. It brings more variation to water, making some appear cleaner, and some dirtier. The observable depths of the water has been changed too, to make some bodies of water appear deeper and shallower in-game.
Weather Redux is an immersive weather modification for Fallout 4 on PS4. It adds a few new storms, including heavy varieties of rain, fog and radiation storms. There is also Plasma Storms, Dust Storms and Thunder Storms. To compliment these new systems, the amount of time a storm will be active has been increased, and nights are made slightly darker.
Immersive Gameplay is an overhaul mod for Fallout 4. It makes many changes to the game, including slower levelling, more enemies, calibre based damage, new ammunition types and much more. Overall, it will make Fallout 4 a much more challenging, but realistic and immersive experience.
How was it damage in/outcome in shc..? I try to looking for mod that would balance gameplay a bit, but headshot 6x multiplier causes troubles.. imo game doesn't need that.. it doesn't work very well in gameplay. More damage instead work fine if player has larger health pool.. it causes less bulletspong enemies and creatures.. even bugs dies as those should.. and armors play a bit lesser role.
I tried this rld hardcore harmony.. or whatever it name was.. there was good idea when level up/perk system was kinda wash through toilet and there gameplay worked whole lotta better than this vanilla "sandbox rpg shooter mongrel"
Yeah it works imo too when outcome, but melee fights goes very randomly and headshots to self feels not so nice in aspect for balanced gameplay..and i think creatures slain works better with higher damage mod.. like 3x in and 3x out..
I tested out this shc mod with my friend who is also hc player and first and only thing why he doesn't like it was sudden deaths.. he said it breaks immersion and doesn't have anything to do with hardcore :/ otherhand he praise economics and how gameplay finally makes u think before act:)But thanks i'll try those different dismemberments out:) btw i've got that, too many flamethrower raiders problem again..it's very annoying because flamethrower is so op weapon in interiors..
I'll never had any troubles with armors and carry weight, there's always room for guns and stuff, even when my strength is only 4.. my problems becomes that it's bit too easy to get good and lightweight armors.. at level 3 i've often already have more than 150 armor rating.. and usually after 1hour playtime i already easily run next 2-3hours with PA, but still sometimes get killed by one hit or shot to head, flamethrower or get stinged by bloodbug and last one was those mines which now kill you right away even when in full PA (those are ways i even ever get killed) I know it's possible to avoid those deaths with right perks, but isn't that bit wrong and useless way..? take right perks to get it balanced.? Or that you need to use headshots, otherwise some enemies are bulletsponges..ex mutants, bears etc.. i think shc doesn't need that kind of difficulty to gameplay anymore..
I think I definitely have a timescale issue. 21 minutes pass in fallout for 1 minute of real time. My math is, admittedly, awful but that can't be in line with the 8:1 timescale set by IG on Xbox? If I worked it out on my calculator and Google properly, 8 Fallout mins should pass per 1 real minute, 3 hours real time for a full day in game. But that doesn't seem to be what I'm getting at all. Anyone know what I've done wrong, if anything? My end load order is: Start me up, IG, IG season pass, IG crossbows patch, IG dismemberment, IG optional 5x vats drain, IG SHC beta and IG SHC wasteland addict patch.
Wasteland addict is directly above IG in my mod list, I didn't include anything above IG. If I have the patch I have the mod ;) I downloaded HoloTime, it said my timescale was at 1 realtime hour = 20 fallout hours. Which is the vanilla I think? Not sure what has made it reset
Is there anyone else than me who has tried zombie replace creatures mod with ig and shc.. i wanna hear someone elses opinion from that combination beacuse i might miss something important when i playing with it.. bugs etc.. im not that kind fallout veteran who can think further than main quest...
To be honest cans wouldn't protect against radiation but we could assume they were kept in a bunker somewhere I guess. Foil packed food would be completely contaminated. For gameplay sake I'm happy to have a small percentage of pre war food in the medium to good category.
SHC doesn't allow you to be a horder, if it was up to me I would completely strip you of your weapon now and then as this is when the gameplay is most intense. This is why ammo is so rare, to encourage you to use everything at your disposal. There's plenty of mods to add back in the carry weights for people can't help themselves hoard. 150 max carry weight is about right for survival.
The notes indicate that the amount of meat has been reduced from animals. I have now killed molerats, bugs and Radstags. The most I have ever received is a single meat, often nothing, and never any fat for rendering purposes. Is this as designed or is something misfiring. I am playing with a very lightly modded game, basically the immersive gameplay, darker nights, and a hairstyle mod for aesthetics. So basically should not be mod conflicts. I'm using nexus mod manager but no loot organization as the mod list is small enough to do it manually.
I found there's a bug in chem station PS4.. theres empty slot at first section and if u use it, u get stuck. I don't know what happened, but now i also found those radroaches which r extremely hard to kill.. but i recommend every player try to check out and playing this SHC beta with zombie walker and zombies replace creatures.. and no more leaping ghouls mods.. Extremely fun and immersive! If u can make your way out vault:) i made it.. but left with broken foot and 15hp.. just remember to add first two mods Before IG and SHC beta patch.. Edit: forget that romero stylish walker mod.. without it it's even more crazy:) and start from a clean save.
Updated on December 7th, 2022, by Ritwik Mitra: Fallout 4's massive map and huge gameplay improvements definitely made the game a brilliant evolution of the Fallout formula despite its narrative drawbacks. As is the case with most Bethesda games, the true potential of this title comes with the use of mods that change everything from the game's UI to its enemies and everything in between. Suffice it to say, combat is also one of the many aspects that mods can change, with the best Fallout 4 combat mods being mentioned below.
The War Never Changes mod by Nokhal claims to be a complete overhaul of combat and gameplay in Fallout 4. The basis of the mod is to make the endgame more enjoyable by removing bullet sponges and making combat more tactical affairs. The end result is a game that feels more like a traditional FPS than an RPG with FPS elements. 2b1af7f3a8
