I had been using a crappy usb to serial adapter that was turning my phone into a paperweight. This usb to serial adapter works great and has many more features. I was able to get my phone back into my car and use it as a hands free device while it's charging. I was able to transfer data between my computer and my phone when it was on the charger. I was able to set up the android phone to forward to my computer and use it as a free wifi hotspot.

Great product. My phone didn't automatically shut off when it was connected to the USB interface. I just had to uninstall the software, reboot and install the new version. Works great. This USB to Serial adapter works just as I expected it to. The phone sets itself to automatic shutdown after a few minutes of being inactive.

NICE FEATURE. I had my phone hooked up to my computer and the computer had this device plugged in. I tried to uninstall the software that came with the phone but I couldn't, so I decided to use the software that came with the usb to serial adapter. It works exactly as I was hoping it would. I was able to transfer my music from my phone to my computer.

Well worth the money.I have been looking for a USB to serial adaptor for my automobile and I have finally found what I am looking for. Not only does this adaptor allow me to transfer data from my cellphone but the built in audio jack allows me to connect my phone to the car stereo, allowing it to be used as a remote control for the stereo. Both the audio jack and the data port are on the same cable and each use a different port on the adaptor. This means that I can use the audio jack on my phone, connect the phone to my car's stereo and use it to control the stereo. It is super easy to set up and I would recommend this product to anyone.
